Try these top tips:

Eat Well

A good diet is important so make sure you get your five a day and eliminate or cut back on alcohol, caffeine, sugar and spicy foods.

Update your vitamin regime

Some vitamins are of particular importance to women going through the change so make sure you're getting plenty of vitamins B6, C, D and E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, and omega 3. You should be getting these through your a balanced diet but try taking a good quality supplement if you think you might be missing out.

Relax

Coping with the additional mental stress of menopause can be tough, so take time out for yourself so you can unwind and have a bit of "me time"

Go natural

Certain foods like soya have been found to helpful. Look for a good quality supplement that has standardised extracts so you know you're taking the same dose every time.
