Chew, chew, chew
An array of delicious foods makes it tempting to gobble everything in sight, but try to take your time when you eat and enjoy each mouthful. Good chewing is the first step to healthy digestion and nutritional experts say that most common digestive problems can be reduced or eliminated through better chewing.
Don't stop moving
Exercise helps to move digested food through the intestines, thereby preventing the painful symptoms of constipation.
Eat your greens
Try not to neglect the vegetable plate and remember that you should still be aiming to eat your five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. |
